The Band
Holland's premier Bee Gees Tribute Band
'Bee Gees Forever' was created by Timothy Drake: former frontman and creator of brother band 'Queen Forever'.
After an extended search to find the right magic among the members, the band was complete in 2023 and they were able to get to work. There soon appeared to be a lot of enthusiasm to let this young group of enthusiastic musicians play at all kinds of events; with great success!
Their participation in the SBS6/Talpa program 'The Tribute - Battle of the Bands' (2024) accelerated everything: Not only the jury, but the whole of the Netherlands falls for the charm of these gentlemen!
The agenda fills up very quickly! This year, the guys from Bee Gees Forever will be on all major stages in the country and a major theater tour will be rolled out! Our Mike (Barry Gibb) can stop plastering: he's now full-time Barry! In addition to his excellent vocals, Mike is also turning out to be one of the biggest Bee Gees fans/experts in the country! Together with the playful Jeffrey and all-rounder Martijn - his “Gibb brothers” - they form the core of Bee Gees Forever.
The band should certainly not be left unmentioned in this story: Yme (drums), Rik (guitar) and Kevin (bass) have recently graduated from the Pop Academy in Enschede and are thus immediately entering a professional musician's life. In addition to perfect command of their instrument, they also show themselves to be excellent singers, which only reinforces the beautiful harmonies.
